Bridge Girders
Haywards is a leader in bridge girder fabrication, having now completed 72 individual girders across 5 bridges in various locations throughout Melbourne.
We have been able to achieve exceptional on site fit-ups whilst keeping projects on budget and to program.
Our systems make best use of 3D ACAD modeling, interfacing with automated profile cutting machines to produce perfect shapes for assembly - the key to providing an accurate final product. Whether the design calls for sections to be straight, sweeping curves or segmented curves, we have successfully met all challenges.
On our last project, we fabricated and shipped a curved 46m long, 3m high, 2.5m wide and 95T section in one piece, proving transportation from Tasmania to mainland Australia is no barrier to a Tasmanian company.
