Steel Detailing
Based at our Crisp Bros facility, we led Tasmania's steel fabricators and detailers with the installation of AutoCAD software in 1989 and continued to show the way by upgrading to Tekla Structures, a 3D steel modeling program, in 1998. Currently running 6 licences, our detailers are able to assist engineers and architects with the design of complex projects.
The automated shop drawing production from a Tekla 'model' has resulted in near faultless projects since its inception. We have a direct electronic link, from the 'model', with profile cutting facilities, saving time and eliminating errors in plate cutting.
The far-reaching capabilities of this technology and our highly skilled staff allow us to specialise in a wide range of steelwork from highly involved architectural designs to mechanical installations including conveyors and plate work.
